Growing up in Southern Georgia, LaRedeaux spent many days dreaming of seeing the world. After leaving home, she became a professional truck driver, a career that is still considered by many as an unconventional lifestyle for women, and she has spent many years traveling across America and Canada.
As she criss-crosses North America in her eighteen-wheeler, LaRedeaux lives a carefree lifestyle nurturing her on again/off again relationship with writing, which began back in middle school when she started writing alluring prose and motivational poems.
For several years, during the “off again” part of the writing relationship, LaRedeaux set her writing aside and turned her attention to other endeavors. LaRedeaux revived her love affair with writing in 2010 when she set pen to paper and returned to writing poems in her spare time.
In August 2012, she wrote and self-published her first flash fiction story, OoPs!. A week later, she published OutSourced under Midnight Publications, her brand-new publishing company. Both stories feature a lyrical twist with poems from the unpublished poetry book Late Night Ramblings of a Moonchild. She then released One Man’s Desire, her first novel, and her love for light-hearted romance continued to grow with the release of Sweet Love.
While she maintains a love for poetry, writing contemporary fiction has become a passion for LaRedeaux. When she isn’t behind the wheel of her big rig, she can be found in the bunk of her cab typing away on her laptop or jotting down her next literary work with pen on pad.
