Connie M. Van Cleve grew up in Denver, Colorado, but broke out of the mid-west when she discovered her passion for travel. She spent 6 months in India and has visited 35 other countries as well. She has worn many hats, and only one is a lie: photographer, motor drag-strip pit member, rock musician, NYC dog walker, construction worker, exotic dancer, secretary, sheet-metal worker, bartender, market researcher, horse trainer, label-setter seamstress, barista, travel agent, artist’s assistant, a brief stint in the French Foreign Legion, and the best job of all, she’s been a wife for 27 years.
Connie has studied world religions and cultures, with particular focus on Hinduism and Buddhism, and is keen on society’s growing quest for spirituality, with a strong desire of her own to be a contributor, if even in a small way.
Connie is living and writing at the moment in the city of Al Ain in the UAE.
